This Privacy Policy explains what information Listune (“Listune”, “the app”, “we”) handles and how. Listune is a personal productivity app for iPhone, provided by an individual developer based in Sweden. It is written to be honest about what the app does today — not to reserve rights for things it doesn’t do.
In short: Listune stores your content on your own device. There are no third-party analytics or advertising trackers. The only external service involved is Google Calendar, and only if you choose to connect it.
1. Data we store, and where
Everything you create in Listune — tasks, areas, projects, notes, shopping lists, habits, goals, journal entries, focus sessions and your settings — is stored locally on your device using Apple’s SwiftData framework. This data lives on your iPhone and, if you have iCloud device backups enabled, within your own encrypted Apple backup.
We do not run our own servers that receive or store your content, and we do not include any third-party analytics, crash-tracking, advertising, or behavioural-tracking SDKs in the app. We do not build a profile of you, and we do not sell or share personal data, because we do not collect it centrally in the first place.
2. Google Calendar integration
Listune can connect to your Google Calendar so that your events appear alongside your tasks in the app. This connection is entirely optional and only happens if you choose to sign in with Google.
What we request
When you connect, Google shows you a consent screen describing the access being requested. At present Listune requests access to your Google Calendar in order to read your events so they can be displayed and kept in sync inside the app. We intend to add write access in a future version so that events you create in Listune can be saved back to your Google Calendar; when that ships, Google will ask for your consent to the additional scope, and this policy will be updated to reflect it.
How your calendar data is used
- Calendar events are used solely to display and synchronise your schedule within Listune.
- We do not use Google Calendar data for advertising, and we do not share it with third parties.
- Calendar data retrieved from Google is held on your device alongside your other Listune content, following the same local-storage approach described above.
- Listune’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
3. Subscriptions and payments
Listune offers optional paid tiers (Pro and Plus). All subscriptions are purchased and managed through Apple’s App Store using StoreKit. Listune never sees or processes your card number, billing address, or other payment details — those are handled entirely by Apple. The app only receives from Apple the information needed to know whether an active subscription exists so it can unlock the corresponding features.
4. Deleting your data
Because your content is stored on your device, deleting the Listune app removes its local data from that device. If you use iCloud device backups, a copy may remain in your Apple backup until that backup is overwritten or removed through your iOS settings; this backup is controlled by you and Apple, not by us.
Revoking Google Calendar access
You can disconnect Google Calendar at any time from within Listune’s settings. You can also revoke Listune’s access directly from your Google Account:
- Go to myaccount.google.com/permissions.
- Find Listune in the list of apps with access to your account.
- Select it and choose Remove access.
Revoking access stops any further calendar syncing. Calendar events already cached on your device are removed when you disconnect the integration in-app or delete the app.
5. Children
Listune is a general-purpose productivity app and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
6. Changes to this policy
Listune is under active development. Planned features — including Google Calendar write access and CloudKit-based sync across your devices — will change how data moves, and this policy will be updated before or as those features ship. We won’t describe capabilities here that the app doesn’t yet have. When we make a material change, we’ll update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
